In my early 50’s and living in Southern California, as much as I love hitting the slopes in recent years, between the lack of snow and not being as young as I used to be, its been harder on my body and I get tired a lot faster. What I particularly hate in strapping and unstrapping into my bindings, at the top of a mountain sitting ackwardly in the snow or waiting for a bench and then trying to do the necessary yoga in 6 layers of clothes to be ready for the ride.
As much as I prefer snowboarding over skiing, I’ve been considering going back just because of the bindings.
Yes Burton has step in bindings, but there is still a fair amount of yoga involved with those.
Then I heard about the Clew bindings from Germany and suddenly, I feeling like I got at least another 10-15 years of riding.
